Eight new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for March 23, 2021)

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed eight (8) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 22nd March 2021 at 6pm.

These new cases were as a result of one hundred and fifteen (115) samples processed by MSJMC.

Fourteen (14) recovered cases have been recorded bringing the total to seven hundred and fifteen (715).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand and eighty (1080); which is inclusive of three hundred and thirty-seven (337) active cases.

Meanwhile, ten (10) Covid-19 vaccines were administered since the last publication bringing the total number of individuals vaccinated to twenty five thousand six hundred and eighty-seven (25,687).

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

    Direct impact on hoped for summer tourism season unless we get this under control.
    Still curious as to HOW MANY HOSPITALIZATIONS within the active case count.
