Eight new cases of COVID-19 in Antigua & Barbuda

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed eight (8) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Sunday 25th July 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

Seven (7) of these cases were recorded on the 23rd July and one (1) was recorded on 24th July 2021. No results were received for 25th July 2021.

 

 

Six (6) of the new cases are imported and two (2) non-imported.

 

 

Two hundred and nineteen (219) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and eighty-eight (1288); which is inclusive of sixteen (16) active cases.  There are three (3) mild hospitalized cases.

 

 

Meanwhile, thirty seven thousand eighthundred and forty-one (37,841) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which thirty thousand four hundred and thirty (30,430) received the second dose.

 

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
