(Dashboard Update for September 2, 2021)
The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre has revealed eight ( new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday 1st September 2021 at 6pm.
Sixty (60) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand seven hundred and fifty (1750); which is inclusive of three hundred and fifty-seven (357) active cases.
There are twenty-six (26) hospitalized cases; nineteen (19) mild, three (3) moderate and four (4) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty four thousand and eight (34,008) individuals while seven thousand and fifty-three (7,053) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
*Please note that two additional deaths were recorded today; one at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and one in Barbuda. These deaths will be reflected on the dashboard for August 2, 2021.
*The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment apologizes for the late publication of the Covid-19 situation report which will provide a detailed breakdown of the imported and non-imported cases as well as other statistical data. Due to the inadvertent developments, the revised date for the publication will be September 3, 2021.

I am fully aware that The Delta Variant is taking over the news daily. Last week there were 3 murders by guns on Antigua. What is the latest on that? When are we going to hear from Law Enforcement and or the Minister of Public Safety?
You see when you don’t follow the protocols, things like these are bound to happen… Smh
The new variant has landed here compliments of world dictator traitor tyrant liar bully HT Gaston Browne and his cesspool gang of creative enrichment schemers. The complete morons think that vaccinated people can’t spread the virus and that is exactly how the Delta variant has reached our nation, from the vaccinated people. All vaccinated people can be potential carriers or super spreaders.
I am not surprised Delta has reached and soon the new Mu variant will be here. There is no stopping this and we all getting it at some point. Who dead, just dead. It is all about survival of the fittest, vaccinated or not. Nothing we can do to avoid it.
What we can do is bring the kidnappers abductors who murdered Nigel Christian execution style to justice. He was murdered because he found out the persons behind the “forged” signatures at the Port. They include ministers in the govt and persons who will do the ministers’ dirty work such as Hammer Pump.
We can also bring to justice all those who were involved in the kidnapping abduction and human trafficking HT of Mehul Choksi to justice.
No one is above the law and that especially includes govt ministers. Bring them all to justice. Nigel Christian’s family deserves justice.
