Vendors at the East Bus Station are crying out for help over what they say is repeated break-ins at their businesses.

A variety of small businesses including restaurants, bars, and beauty shops, ply their trade at the bus station.

“East Bus Station need some security,” a female vendor said adding “every minute they break the shop.”

The woman who did not want to be named because she feared being targeted said her food shack was broken into as recently as Sunday.

“Me tyad ah them now,” the woman cried.

She indicated that herself and other vendors have made numerous reports to the police but the thieves have not been caught.

“They come take finger prints and do all kind of something but nothing ah come out of it,” the distressed vendor said.

She said the problem persists despite moving location within the compound once or twice.

She could not put a price tag on the losses.
