Early-morning rapes and a robbery on June 2 and June 3 traumatize two women

REAL NEWS- Two women were the victims of rape by an unknown masked man who entered their homes in separate incidents within the space of 24 hours.

Reports say that on Sunday, June 2, an adult female telephoned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and complained that she had been raped by a lone masked man.

This offence reportedly occurred at about 5 a.m. and an officer from the Special Victims Unit was informed.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old woman reported that she, too, had been raped by a masked gunman, and that matter was relayed to the CID, as well.

Reportedly this offence occurred at about 2:16 in the morning hours of June 3.

In this instance, it is alleged that the unknown man entered the victim’s house through a push-up window – that was closed but not locked – and flashed a bright light into her face.

Allegedly, after sexually violating the young woman, the masked intruder then ransacked her room and took about $400 in cash from her purse.

The man was described as about 5’ 8” tall; dressed entirely in black clothing; wearing a black ski mask; and carrying a handgun.

It is alleged that he fled from the scene via the front door.

A search reportedly was carried out in the immediate area for a suspect fitting the description but without success.

The victim was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre to seek medical attention.

  1. omg so sad police need to start patrolling the areas around Antigua an I dnt understand why yu all didn’t pit the districts that these are happening so ppl be aware kmt

Antigua getting worst an worst because the men dem dnt want work they just wsh sit on road side an burn weed
right now if anyone has a illigal gun I wouldn’t even report them because police not defending us!!! you all cock up in unuh bed a night time or lock IP in station a sleep while we have to fend for our darn self

  2. My prayers and thoughts go out to the two women who were attacked.❤️🙏🏾. What I don’t understand is what’s the big secret about where these two rapes occurred? The public aught to be told where this took place so we can be vigilant and protect ourselves and our children.

  3. I have expressed to them in authority in Antigua that Barrk crimes (Burglary, arson, rape, robbery, kidnapping) are not at all being affected by any strategy being used and that they must follow my precise research and recommendation for these inherently dangerous kind of crimes to be substantially reduces. I warned that these crimes will increase and that it has nearly nothing to do with unemployment rate but with opportunity being made available as there is no apprehension or fear of being caught. It is why tactics that increases fears of being caught must be widely seen and conditioning of community and youths must immediately begin.

Based on the continuation of research I did in Antigua a few days ago, once this continues longer, it will be impractical and or impossible to stop after.

Once again, instead of defending your competence, please focus on what my pragmatic research, on the community of Antigua and its police force, is saying.

I literally did my research paper (BA and MA) on the Island’s police, policing and the country. I spend years analyzing these groups and individuals. If officers could remember my frequent calls to various police stations and questioning. Also as recent as 2022, my interviewing of over 1000 people in the country pertaining to crimes and victimization. I was also doing so on voting day in Bolans where it was Mr. Simon and Ms. Marshall against each other to represent bolans (that day I got close to 100 interviews and data collected on form and verbally).

If there is anyone who pragmatically understand the society of Antigua and its police, it would be me.

Listen to my research. I do not want your job or pay. You can have it. But let me save lives and make the community safe again.

  4. Why Antigua doesn’t have a DNA facility in this day and age. Police need to be in stake outs and petrol the streets of Antigua this is very sad and will be traumatizing for the law ladies. Does the government care what’s happening. Ppl also need to lock up their homes and put as much security as possible from these bastards.

  5. All because it’s all badman in the police force rn…..these officers and ex officers are selling back guns to the youths

  6. This rapeing start again it use to happen aome years back and now starts againg women cannot slerp in there bed properly at nights

  7. We will never hear these incidents making the ABS News. It appears as though we are living in paradise according to their reporting.
