Earliest Reasonable Arrival Time of Tropical-Storm-Force Winds

Tammy is expected to strengthen to a hurricane by Saturday while it moves near or over portions of the Leeward Islands.

Tropical storm conditions are expected to begin in portions of the Lesser Antilles within the tropical storm warning area this afternoon or evening, with hurricane conditions possible within the hurricane watch area on Saturday.

Additional watches and warnings could be required later today.

Heavy rains from Tammy will begin to affect the Leeward and northern Windward

Islands today, spreading into the British and U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico over the weekend.

This rainfall may produce isolated flash and urban flooding, along with isolated mudslides in areas of higher terrain.

  1. God is in control
I pray that EVERYONE stays safe and there is no loss of life during the passing of this storm/hurricane
    Blessed Love

  2. The rains, the winds and possibly an EARTHQUAKE too are COMING with a vengeance!
VENGEANCE IS MINE, says the ESSENCE of Nature’s Ether!

    Be Safe! Be prepared!

  3. The unfortunate part of life in a tropical paradise is the occasional tropical storm. Here in Florida hurricane Idalia’s winds weren’t so much an issue, the king tide and super moon made for some massive storm surge from a Cat 1 storm.
Blessings, thoughts and prayers for the best possible outcome.
