Police officers from the Narcotics and K-9 units intercepted cannabis concealed in sealed packages of cereal boxes at the General Post Office at 10:30 am earlier today.
The cannabis seized weighed a total of 5.75 lbs with an estimated wholesale value of ECD $23,000.
The cereal boxes were contained in a larger brown cardboard box containing not only cereal but other dried food items.
Police are presently investigating the circumstances surrounding the presence of the drugs at the General Post Office.
