A vehicular accident on the Anchorage Road could leave a young driver facing criminal charges.

According to reports, a white Toyota Voxy with passengers lost control, slammed into a billboard. It then crashed into a roadside vendors establishment then slammed into a Hyundai Creta before stopping in the nearby bushes a few yards off the road.

Passengers of the Hyundai Creta were complaining of pains about their body; they were later taken to the Mt St John Medical Centre by Ambulance for examinations.

The vendors of the nearby coconut water stand were shaken as they had left the stall to return when the incident occurred.

They told state media; they’re counting their blessings for not being there at the time of the accident.

Eyewitnesses say speeding is a factor that caused the accident.

  1. Please start taking away their licenses and get them off the road. We speak too much in this Island and no action.. This has been going on forever, will charging him with dangerous driving stop the reckless driving of these obviously stupid young Men ?The only thing that may help to curb it,is to get them off the road, others will be deterred because no one want’s to be restricted from driving. After they lose the license and caught driving, then jail them. Its really ridiculous, not to mention dangerous to innocent people. We just pass laws and do not enforce..Sickening man.
