Driver dies after accident in Freetown

SOURCE STATE MEDIA: A woman died in a traffic incident in Freetown on Friday night after her vehicle veered off the road and struck a fence.

The 46-year-old, who was driving a rental car, is believed to have lost consciousness moments before the crash, which occurred shortly after 7 p.m., according to initial reports.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but she could not be revived and was pronounced dead there.

Authorities have not yet released additional details as investigations into the circumstances of the incident continue
