Dredging Operations Underway at Crabbs Marina, Maiden Island, and Winthorpes Bay

Dredging works have commenced in Antigua & Barbuda’s waters, including Crabbs Marina, Maiden Island, and Winthorpes Bay, until September 30, 2023.

Ship-owners, operators of small craft, and visiting vessels are advised to exercise caution while passing working vessels in the area and keep clear of the works zone.

The ongoing 24/7 operations aim to enhance navigability and ensure safer maritime activities, reinforcing Antigua & Barbuda’s position as a maritime hub in the region.
