The Antigua and Barbuda Reparations Support Commission (ABRSC), wishes to congratulate Chairman Dorbrene O’Marde, who today, officially received his instrument of Appointment as Ambassador-at-large with responsibility for Antigua and Barbuda Reparatory Justice Programme.
Ambassador O’Marde is currently the Chairman for the Antigua and Barbuda Reparation Support Commission and also serves as the Vice-Chair of the CARICOM Reparations Commission (CRC), led by Sir Hilary Beckles.
O’Marde is an author and is known for his illustrious career in culture, history, theatre and music throughout the Caribbean region. He was first appointed as Ambassador-at-Large in 2017 and reappointed in 2020.
Ambassador O’Marde’s appointment seeks to facilitate the effective and efficient implementation of the CARICOM Reparatory Justice Programme and to signal in a very serious way Antigua and Barbuda’s commitment
