I would like to know more about my ancestry on the island as I’m from London, The UK. I did an Ancestry DNA test and it came back to me that I can trace half my ancestors back to Antigua.
As my ancestors on my dad side of the family came from Antigua and they were called the Walter family as they were part of the slave trade that took place on the island.
As I already known that have family on the island as my cousin auntie which there surname is called Jacob still lives on the island today as her brother lives in London to this day. From what I told you I would like to know does some of the Walter family still lives on the island today and what’s the history with the Walter family in Antigua generally.
I would really appreciate this help as I personally don’t know anyone in Antigua who is a Walter or in the UK generally.
