She also, touched on the often-overlooked topic of mental health, highlighting how critical it is to recognize the struggles some individuals may face, especially those who may not have a strong mental resilience.

Her role as a mentor reinforced the idea that fostering a supportive and compassionate environment is crucial for the well-being of young people.

Former Queen of Carnival contender-Tamorla Millette, and founder of the Boss Ladies Connect group, expressed her gratitude for Dominque’s involvement, noting that her presence made the event truly special.

“The impact of such initiatives is profound, as they create connections among young girls and provide them with the tools and inspiration needed to navigate their formative years confidently,” she added.

According to Dominque’s publicist and PR team – this is just the beginning of her commitment to community engagement.

In a statement they said “Over the coming months, Dominque will participate in various activities aligned with her advocacy for mental health and anti-bullying initiatives. As she invites the community to follow her journey on social media, Dominque aims to encourage others to join her in making a difference through a series of exciting projects that uplift and empower.”

  1. correction: she is NOT the Queen of Carnival……miss Markham is!

wonderul work though. keep inspiring others using your platform Dominique

  2. I just wrote to the AG, PM, COP, Deputy commissioner of police, foreign affairs about the important tool in giving hope to young people, preventing crimes being committed by young people by introducing to them local people who have achieved various things as this beautiful and intelligent lady, sports celebrities (like ViV, Richie, Ambrose), retired and famous police commissioner’s (like pompey), young attorneys, young forensic scientist like Latoya Lake, local popular basketball ball, soccer/football, cricket players etcetera.

This allows children to hope, stay on the right path and know they can achieve success too. The right way.

It is time Antigua and Barbuda get its own famous people and celebrate them while encouraging youths to follow the right path and not commit crimes.

Famous bloggers like Ras Smood, Brixtonian, pompey, cool ruler, skywill, tenman, etcetera are local blogging celebrities. Many others.

I remember how badly I wanted to meet the now AG Cutie Benjamin, Wendel Robinson, Eli Fuller, Harold Lovel (on justice, a local Antiguan TV talk show about law/justice). My father only had the ability to introduce me to Wendel Robinson. I wanted to be legal experts like these people so much.

It honestly motivated me to achieve the success I have today. We can motivate others in Antigua and Barbuda.
