Dominica signed an agreement with the People’s Republic of China on Monday to allow for visa-free travel between our two countries.
The visa waiver agreement takes immediate effect.
The agreement marks an important milestone in our friendship with China and will deepen and strengthen our bilateral relations.
We thank the People’s Republic of China for its friendship, cooperation and trust over the years and we reaffirm our commitment to the One China Policy.
On behalf of the Government and People of Dominica, I also wish to officially welcome to Dominica, H.E Lin Xianjiang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of Dominica, who presented his credentials to the President, H.E Charles A Savarin on Monday.
We wish him well as he begins his duties in Dominica.
