Diwali is being celebrated all over the world, and here in Antigua as well.
The Indian community enjoyed the Diwali festival on Saturday the 22nd October at The Chimney restaurant.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest GG H.E. Sir Rodney Williams & Lady Williams and Guest of Honor Minister Charles Fernandez.
The Indian Consul Mr. Vijay Tewani invited the Governor General and the Tourism Minister to light the lamp along with Mr. Kishor Rajpal the owner of the restaurant.
GG HE Sir Rodney Williams wished the Indian diaspora A Happy Diwali & a Prosperous New Year.
The Festival of Lights was celebrated with Indian dances, music & food.
