As someone whoβs been genuinely undecided, this really made me stop and think.
Thereβs just something different about a man who lost and still stayed. No spotlight, no guarantee; just showing up, staying connected, and being present. That says a lot about Mr.George and where his heart really is.
And when I compare that to his opponent, I honestly canβt say Iβve seen that same effort or consistency at all. Itβs hard to support someone who hasnβt really shown up in any meaningful way.

Good job. Due to his political party being the government of the day, he would have easy access to the country’s purse. His opponent will have challenges to accessing the country’s purse. If his opponent needs to have any work done in the constituency, he/she would have to write a letter to the different ministries for assistance in improving the constituency environment and development. How politics operate in Antigua and Barbuda: these ministries (with approval from the different ministers responsible for the ministries) would either deny the opposition’s request or drag their feet in fulfilling it. We are all taxpayers, and each constituency should be treated equally when it comes to spending the people’s tax dollars to improve the environment, especially the infrastructures.

Antigua has a lot of no good politicians. Let me name a few .
All Saints East- Lamin Newton the ABLP candidate an opportunist. UPP Pringle should have educated himself into a more formidable speaker. All Saints west – Anthony Smith a hypocrite, betraying the people and to date have not consulted. Harold Lovell never showed any interest in All Saints West until Dave and Co on Observer radio forced out poor Barbra. One wash out politician and one Judas. None worthy of a vote. Cutie – A sweet sounding nothing- France chat too much and pretends he knows it all . Gaston a pass – he is brilliant but too self enriching . Chet pass – too much self interest. Baltimore- has nothing to offer. Kiz – great potential-Bowen marred. Dr. Philmore -Replacement of Maulwin Joseph – opportunistic- thought better of him. Johnathon- hard worker – UPP self destruction might prevent him from that strong position and build up over the years. Fernandez – pass , I did not like the Delux dealings. However he is by far the performing government Minister. Barbuda Trevor Walker – should join the BPM with UPP and challenge for leadership. Probably this will give UPP some traction . Sure Antiguan will not mind voting for a Barbudan Prime Minister. Mathew and Parker- Both educated. Mathew pass – Parker unstable.
Maria growing- again I disliked the Vechicle saga and the government handling of the situations. Otherwise she is sound. Not nearly ready to take on the leadership of this country as suggested my Merchant. Freeland and Dalso those two donβt add up to one . At least they both have been trying and get an opportunity.
