St. George Member of Parliament Dean Jonas says the fans which were donated to the New Winthorpes Primary School yesterday was his contribution to the school.
Images circulated yesterday showing Jonas’ political rival, Algernon ‘Serpent’ Watts handing over the fans and other items together with Mickey Josiah.
A news release stated that the supplies were donated by “a number of individuals” but it was Watts in his capacity as “community activist” who took the photo op.
Jonas says the event was staged to make it appear that it was Watts who donated the items which included eight standing fans and two dozen rolls of toilet paper.
“The fans were donated by Dean Jonas and the toilet paper was donated by Roger “lumber” Elvin. The dishonesty of the snake and Mickey Josiah should not go unnoticed. The Serpent should take credit for whatever he donates but to take credit for my donations is beyond shameful,” Jonas said.
“The means and the end are both important -The path taken to good intentions are just as important as the intentions! Is the path truthful?

“I can answer the questions and come een clean! Authenticity! That is what each and every resident should look for in a leader,” Jonas told Antigua News Room.

Fans? We are talking about fans when it come to donations and good deeds every body wants credit. The bad deeds everbody are saints. We need to know about the 3 million dollar fraud and we want the justice to find the killer or killers involved in the execution of the fallen officer. You all are agressive when it comes to mask wearing , implementing laws, get agressive with the case, cover up need to stop.
