After their initial court appearance, Jahquan Davis, 22, Devon Burton, 24, and Judah Francis, 24, have been remanded to prison. September 23 is the date of the trial.
Along with the charges against the men for illegally possessing firearms and ammunition, Francis is also accused of reckless driving.
While Francis only denied the charge of attempting to use a firearm in the commission of an offense, Burton and Davis entered not guilty pleas to all the charges.
According to police, they found masks, weapons, and ammo in the defendants’ car last week near Factory Playing Field.
They believe the defendants were plotting a crime.

REMANDED TO PRISON UNTIL SEPTEMBER?: NA-A- AH
For the benefit of knowledge, though ‘…EXTENDABLY WEEKLY, ‘…Magistrates’ are empowered to remand persons charged with criminal offences ‘ONLY’ for ‘…7-Days.’
Still, guided by these factors:
(a) ‘…Constitutional Presumption of Innocence’ [CO: 1981: Section 15]; and
(b) …Access to the ‘…High Court of Justice,’ through an Application for Bail,’ could see them
out of Jail.’
Nice names, though: (i) ‘…Jahquan:
(ii) …Devon: and
(iii) …Judah.’
Last two, darn smart: ‘…Admitting to no acts of criminality.’
He that ‘ASSERTS’ must ‘PROVE.’
