D’Aundre Samuel, the top CSEC student from St. Joseph’s Academy (SJA), originally planned to write eight subjects but excelled in 23, securing 21 grade ones and two grade twos.

He credited his family, friends, and SJA teachers for motivating him to undertake the extensive course load.

Expressing joy and gratitude during a State Media interview, Samuel, a former top student at Grace Christian Academy, highlighted the support from his family and SJA teachers who recognized his potential.

Proud of his achievements, Samuel aspires to pursue a career in engineering and dreams of attending MIT. In second place, Adrian Judnarine from SJA wrote 26 subjects, securing 19 grade ones and 7 grade twos.

Tying for third place were Stephanie Archibald and Tianna Bretney from the Baptist Academy of Antigua, achieving outstanding results in 20 subjects with 18 grade ones and 2 grade twos each.

The announcement of the top CSEC students faced a delay due to two candidates questioning their grades.
