Daryll Matthew says planning and execution of key projects in St. John’s Rural South will begin without delay, as he moves into another term representing the constituency.

Speaking in a post-election interview, the MP-elect indicated that existing works, including road improvements, will continue while new initiatives are advanced in the early phase of his term.
“Well, the roadworks that we’ve commenced certainly will continue,” Matthew said, adding that attention will now turn to major community projects.

He said the next step is to begin the planning and rollout of two signature developments — a community centre in the Radio Range area and the establishment of Tyndale Park.
“I have two big signature projects that I’m going to commence the planning and working on them immediately,” he said.
Matthew signaled that the focus now shifts from outlining plans to execution, with immediate steps expected to be taken to move the projects forward.
He also indicated that constituency work will remain active and ongoing, with continued engagement and infrastructure development forming part of the broader agenda as the new term begins.
