Damian Crump of Bathlodge is now in custody at His Majesty’s Prison after being arrested on multiple gun-related charges.
Crump, who had been asked to surrender, turned himself in at the St. John’s Police Station on Sunday, September 8, accompanied by his family.
On Wednesday, he was officially charged with four offenses: shooting with intent, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and malicious damage.
The charges stem from a September 6 incident in Yorks, where Crump allegedly fired at a taxi driver and damaged the driver’s vehicle.
Crump made his first court appearance today, where the judge ordered his remand in custody until his committal hearing on November 20.
