Candidates switch allegiance all the time and it’s well within the rules. Ethics, strategies, tactics, principles, decency, matter to the people. The people are the voters and the voters choose their representatives.

2. I am fed up if hearing UPP leadership speak of the deception of Anthony “Babyface Judas ” Smith.
   We cannot beat a dead horse.
   Why isn’t the UPP doing what needs to be done?
   What is the status of the court filings against Anthony “Babyface Judas ” Smith?
   Has it been refined?
   If not, why not?
   What is the delay?
   This is what the chairwoman needs to come and tell us about.
   We have heard at nauseum that he lied tonUPP leadership.
   We have heard repeatedly that he was negotiating with ALP to jump ship while denying that to the UPP.
   We do not want to hear that again.
   We want to hear what the parry is doing about it in the courts
   We want to hear how the party is supporting Barbara
   Will the party give her its full support as they gave to Wehner in the by-election.
   Let the courts deal with what should be in the courts and let is focus and deal with what we have control over.
   Our political leader is tooooooo reactive.
   He need to begin to lead from the front.
   He needs to stop hiding behind press statement.
   We needs to attack the issues.
   Pringle, if you can’t handle it step aside.
   We have willing, capable and competent people to do the job and take us to victory at the next polls.
   It seems like this is your intention, to ensure that UPP doesn’t win the next elections.

8. D. Gisele Isaac is one on the most intellectual Antiguans. Her command of the English language is superior to most. If she was a man she would have been Antigua PM long time ago and not a role player.
   No one on UPP slate can be compared with her. Most people are uncomfortable around people more educated than themselves , especially those that seeking power. So instead of dragging her down, what you should be doing is elevating the lady. Can you imagine, weak boy Anthony Smith debating her. He cannot talk and look anyone in the eye. Gaston intimidated him into submission. Can the serpent debate with her ? She would turn him into a dummy on any topic. Can Suggy not for a second. Richard will do ok but no competition.
   On the government side , the only person that can stand toe to toe with her is the PM. That will be a debate I would pay to see .
   So I don’t think she is rubbing people wrong. She is strong, confident, imposing in stature, very well spoken , beautiful and despite how she is portrayed she is always smiling. I am no way as educated as her, however this is the type of person if I had a billion dollar business, would easily put in charge. Similarly if I was PM she would be my chief of staff, my right hand. See if you are genuine you would not be afraid of anyone.

9. @Frankly speaking that is why the UPP is in the situation it presently finds itself in because Gisele is so much more intelligent and educated than Pringle. She was trained as a journalist and using words is a journalist’s tool. Using words don’t make you an intellectual.

10. Patriot- I didn’t even know that she was as journalist. I have listened to her speaking on the big issues. Heard her as Speaker of the lower house. She doesn’t even know who I am. Her management of Board of education was excellent . She brought the UPP so shockingly close to winning the last election. She has more leadership qualities than anyone in the opposition and those in government, to include politicians, Permanent secretaries, Union officials etc. Hey I like strong women. To me men are far more prone to corruption.
    Our mothers proved that women have superior management skills.
    Gaston Brown is the only Antiguan politician that can equal her in ability. However, I have a problem with the self enrichment and the use of inside information to enrich themselves and their family members. Also allowing his ministers to do likewise. I believe in serving from the heart. This poor nation is taking care of them properly. So no need to be so greedy. Like the long bag can never be filled.
    We need a strong democracy and with her as involved, she adds more checks and balances than ever those that are paid to do so to include the FFRC. That is what a strong opposition is about , not running behind your opponent looking lands and having back door meetings asking for ministerial positions and refusing to debate in parliament over and over. Yet find the time to travel and fun and frolic. Don’t care who planned long time. You are just elected to serve. Roll down your sleeves and get to work . Be innovative and foster community development using the people that voted for you twice in a few months Shugy. Use your youth, yes you are a youth in politics to develop yourself. You messed up reading a simple document, so there is so much room to improve your reading skills. I can go on and on and on ..
