Customs Officer Al Marlon Antonio has been denied bail in the Magistrate’s Court and has been remanded to the St John’s Police Station.
It is not immediately clear why Antonio was not remanded to 1735.
Antonio made his first court appearance today after being charged with a 400 thousand dollar drug bust. The cannabis totalling 40 pounds was discovered in a barrel on the Port on Thursday.
He can apply to the High Court for bail.

So the drugs belongs to a CUSTOMS OFFICER?…did i read correctly.
AlliGydan aka Endless Cash aka Platinum Boii all the best to you and the others who are doing just the same
Remanded to the Police Station???? Why? No more room down at the Hawksbill hotel?
What the heck is going on in Antigua with Customs Officers. There needs to be lie detector tests for all Customs Officers annually. The same should be Administered to all Police Officers, also.By doing so you would be able to clean both forces.Weed out the bad lying apples in those Departments.
Because is who you know gets you in. The people who have real character are denied….
Throw the book at him. No more nonsense.
A good background check should be don’t on anyone applying for a Custom, The Police Force and ABDF.
Free the man. Weed is God’s plant
Exactly
I’m jus curious tho, how exactly is he connected to the barrel? Is his name on it? Did he come an clear it? What cause he isn’t a custom officer at port sooooo?
