  1. Now the Magistrates are applying the law properly because their initial position of having the persons who were found guilty of breaking the curfew regulations to pay a fine forthwith was incorrect. A person cannot be asked to pay a fine forthwith. He must be given time to pay and in some cases his means must be investigated.

    • Ok so let’s give you the benefit of being right this time. Score: Times Tabor got it right 1. Times Tabor got it wrong 999,999. Please dont break the millionth mark.

  2. So what happened to the people who went over to prickly pear island and nearly put the operators in trouble ah wah because them white and have money? Why them ah target poor black people alone??! Why we nuh hear nothing else about that incident as in them a get charged same way??? I tell you boy if corona was I’m charge of the law they wouldn’t get away justice for everybody!

  3. It is rather strange since a lawyer on a radio program this morning voice his objection to the magistrate charging people and expect them to pay forthwirh that the magistrate is now giving people time to pay.
He even mentioned that since 1961 the privy council saying that forthwith doesn’t mean NOW. You have to give the person reasonable time.
Are our magistrate not off at with the laws? What have become of the 1/3 reduction for pleading guilty and not wasting the courts time. Something still not making sense

  4. Lock up lock up lock up…if Corona virus reach a jail, dem go Lego jail man…how are they even practicing social distancing in a jail

  5. MAMA ALWAYS SAY IF TICK BRUCK IN YA EAR, A DISOBEDIENT CHILD WOULD BE WORTHY OF DEATH & WHO CANT HEAR, WILL FEEL….. The courts are doing a great job so far…… The law is to be respected and no one is considered bigger than law… If the authorities say TAP A YARD….. WELL DO UM…. IF U CHOOSE OTHERWISE & COMMIT THE OFFENCES, JUST MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES ……
