Dancehall artiste Masicka will meet with young people in Antigua and Barbuda on Wednesday for a motivational session focused on personal growth, discipline and overcoming adversity.
The event, titled “Manifesting Greatness: From the Streets to the Stage,” is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Villa Polyclinic and forms part of his engagement as Cultural Ambassador.
Organizers say the session will center on Masicka’s journey to success, offering young people an opportunity to hear firsthand about the challenges, setbacks and decisions that shaped his career. The discussion is expected to encourage participants to reflect on their own paths and the effort required to achieve their goals.
The youth conversation will also provide an interactive space for attendees to engage with the artiste on topics including perseverance, focus and navigating obstacles.

With the kind of lyrics this man has in his songs, even Jamaicans were asking What! Cultural ambassadors?
Now he will be mentoring youths in Antigua with his brand of slackness? Something the Jamaican government would never lose their senses to do.
This is so distasteful! I guess our artistes in Antigua not capable. Antigua done!
Unno tink fe carry gun innah waist, fe waste man and bark shat inna dem a discipline.
Unno tink skin out pan chrome pole wid coke a drizzle dung I nose, lakka run dung stew a culture.
Antigua betta get rid a dem John crow vultures dat a feed pan Antiguans lakka blood sucking vampire.
As an Artiste living here in Antigua and Barbuda,i am from Jamaica,a lot of us are very creative in our music, and not because we may sing about certain things,we always have a professional side of ue, where we can represent ourselves well, and even influence others positively…
@Just a socialist Jamaicans put no other individual nor culture before themselves. Until recently not even the Rastafarian Movement which has done more for the Jamaica culture of bringing awareness to the island from every corner of this earth and advanced its tourism product creating billions of dollars was given the proper respect the Rastafarians deserved.
Jamaicans love no other but themselves. To them everyone else is their stepping stones to get across the river. Antigua and Antiguans are no different to them. If every Jamaican in Antigua could be doing what they’re doing in Antigua in Jamaica, without hindrance they’d be in Jamaica living the good life.
Just a socialist jamaican artists are no more creative, talented or professional than artists from Antigua & Barbuda. Take steelband and calypso, Jamaicans are like light years behind Antigua in these two genres.
If Antigua & Barbuda had the population of Jamaica and was as large, we’d be head to head with Jamaicans in reggae.
Jamaicans are simply still perpetrating the ignorance of many outside of the Caribbean because they’re lacking in knowledge, that all Caribbean nationals are jamaicans. It’s a MYTH which serves jamaica well.
HOW MUCH IS HE BEING PAID TO BE A CULTURAL AMBASSADOR IN ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA?
I think now, you guys do not realize that, the caribbean is all one now, all islands is regional, not international, we are same people, eat and drinks same food with different names, we even look alike, ,sound alike,eg antiguan and Jamaican, St.lucian and Dominican , I go to jamaica very often , at least six times a year I so surprised how they respect and love antigua, and love soca music , I even heard burning flames at few locals bars. So stop the foolish talk , we need travel more to neighbor islands and see you will be so shocked to find out how they embrace Antiguan so, especially in jamaica they show so much respect and love. As least the man black and he west indian. Big up yourself Masicka and welcome .king Mato say so. One love💛💚❤️🇦🇬🇯🇲
