I remembered early this year the said minister had planned to remove police officers as prosecutors from the magistrate courts which was to started in June 2019. Up to this date police officers are still prosecuting cases at the magistrate courts.
Here is another good plan from the minister and I hope it will become implemented.
Yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away, ’cause, I believe in yesterday!
SUDDENLY, I realize that this is today’s rhetoric, in yesterday’s language, because these ideas/policy’s should already be in place, yet, not in place.
Sounds confusing, then I know these politricktans are doing their best to confuse us, so that, Our perception is filled, with confusion….WARNING – this was meant to be confusing! Good morning!
Why waste taxpayers money on another layer of bureaucracy? We all know criminals are prosecuted in Antigua based on party affiliation or colour of skin.
Just stick to the tried and tested method of calling up the police and asking them to ensure the case file is incomplete or ask for indefinite adjournments.
So this is in addition to the DPP office? Will the DPP office be converted into the CPS. We’re like follow fashion monkeys. What will this department do that DPP office has not done or cannot do?
