According to reports there has been a COVID breakout at HMP 1735 in the ‘A’ DIVISION wing.
This is the wing which houses both convicted and remanded inmates.
Total confined so far is 10 and counting since testing of the Division is taking place.

You took away Five Island Primary purpose built for children. Now you are going to demolish the school they are in and relocate them to where?
Mark you I think education should always be a top Priority. However, we are not short on Universities access. We can make do with the five Island campus as is for the next few years. That will also allow the continuance of the primary school in that location.
Our infrastructure is in a deplorable state , water , roads and electricity. Our hospital and health systems are falling apart- clinics are being close for the lack of proper maintenance. St. John’s is in a deplorable state . Hon. Maria Browne recently said it in parliament-It STINKS. I also consider our prison as part of our infrastructure. Words cannot describe the state it us in. It could create a health hazard for the entire nation. Imagine cruise ships stop coming due to Covid outbreak which started at the prison. Remember it started at a market in China. Well a more deadly strain can start in that over crowded stench. Lord have mercy on us all. When the leaders visions are to see how much more they can get and get and get the people will perish.
