The OECS Court of Appeal has ordered the immediate release of Timothy Jackman, who was convicted in 2020 for the manslaughter of his transgender partner, Angel Joseph, in 2018.

Jackman, initially sentenced to 11 years and nine months, successfully appealed after his attorney, Wendel Alexander, argued that the sentencing judge made a “mathematical error” in calculating his term.

He was briefly freed in July last year but was rearrested after prison authorities claimed his release was premature.

  1. Who ever is responsible for these mistakes why can’t they do in right in the first place? It’s looking bad on the system,, as if they don’t know what they’re doing. If he’s innocent it was just a waste of human time. Get your facts straight before proceeding !!!!!!

  2. Was Tessa Barthley life worth anything? Yet her killer is now a sitting MP and most likely going to be a part of the new government but we only seems to have selective outrage when its convenient.
