Antigua and Barbuda Police arrested a couple early Saturday following a search operation in New Winthropes that uncovered several electronic devices believed to be linked to a fraud investigation.

According to reports, officers from the Criminal Investigations Department executed a search warrant around 6:40 a.m. on October 4, 2025, at a residence in the area.
During the operation, police seized two laptops, a tablet, a Sony recorder, two iPhone 16s, a ZTE phone, a computer CPU with a flash drive, and other electronic items.
The couple was taken into custody and transported to the All Saints Police Station for questioning. The devices were also taken in for further forensic examination as investigations continue.

I live not far from New Winthropes and honestly, I shock. Never thought something like that was happening right under we nose.
In my day we used to work hard for every dollar. Nowadays too much young people turning to shortcut and quick money. It never end good.
This is why we keep saying……….report suspicious activity! You never know what happening in the house next door. Glad the police act fast before it get worse
