Convoy Accompanies Andre Simon’s Body on Journey to Funeral Home

8

National cyclist Andre Simon, who tragically passed away on June 8, returned home today to a warm welcome at the V.C Bird International Airport.

His family was greeted with heartfelt support as his body was transported to the Barnes Funeral home.

A convoy of friends, supporters, and fellow cyclists accompanied him, gathering at the former Pan Am Base in Coolidge.

Simon suffered critical injuries in a devastating accident on the Sir George Walter Highway last year.

Despite undergoing treatment in the US, his condition fluctuated, offering moments of hope.

A Thanksgiving service will be held on July 10 at the St John’s Pentecostal House of Restoration to honor his memory.
