NOTICE: Please be advised that COWCL proposes to construct the actual roundabout at Mount Joy on Sir Sydney Walling Hwy starting tomorrow (Thur) 18th March, 2021. Work may periodically affect the flow of traffic in the area.
Base material placement will commence tomorrow with a single lane traffic on one side of the roundabout controlled with Flag Persons during the day.
The lane being worked on during daylight hours on Wednesday will be covered with a Cutback Bitumen and will remain closed that night with single lane Traffic controlled with Traffic Lights.
On the second day, the completed RAP base will be opened to single lane traffic while the RAP base is done to the other side of the Roundabout.
The contracting firm plans to have roundabout asphalted on Friday 19th March, 2021.
