Confusion in Barbuda over the construction of a home for Gordon Morris aka “Brother”

The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party is closely monitoring  developments happening right now on Barbuda over house and land dispute.

It involves Gordon Morris aka “Brother” who got approval for one of the EU houses.

It is reported that a Barbudan recognising the challenges of Mr. Morris stepped up and allowed for the house to be built on his land.

The Barbuda Council visited the work site this morning to stop the project. Their reasons are not clear.

  2. Not clear on whose land the house is being built on? Is it the Barbudan that stepped in the house is being built on? Did Mr. MORRIS had a land before?

    Pray all things work out, these people had been without comfort since the hurricane

  3. These archaic Barbudans need to step into the 21st century and encourage entitlement/legal ownership for “their land”. Now they are fighting and disputing amongst eachother (SMH). Get to the times Barbudans and stop being dinosaurs of a bygone era!

  6. You think anu anu/bbq can go to Guyana and go on so. The amount of eligible Barbudans that are without help is quite numerous. Morris needs to wait his turn. According to Tian, Local!!
