I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Gordon Derrick, former president of the Caribbean Football Union and former General Secretary of the Antigua and Barbuda Football association.
Please accept my sincere sympathy on this terrible loss. Gordon’s hard work and dedication will never be forgotten.
Throughout his career Garden played a very important role across the region as president of the Caribbean Football Union and at the federation, he had immense impact on those whose careers were assisted and impulsed by him and his leadership.
He will truly be missed by his football family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Derrick’s family and friends, and everyone at the Antigua and Barbuda football association.
