  1. You can’t tell me 1735 isn’t just a hotel. All across this world prison is a place of punishment, where from the outside you don’t want to be, but here in Wadadli there’s no hesitation, no thinking about the aftermath or punishment to come.
It’s all about proving that am the true bad man, so am gonna show you, then join the other guests at 1735. The competition that just down King Warrior and all the other DJ went out their way to make sure them big up all the guys a 1735 cause it’s all about who a true Badman. How can it be so easy to take another’s man life?

    • @Carvaa,
You are truly learning the culture and way of thinking in Antigua. You got it correct.

I am not saying police can stop all crimes but I am saying we know how locals think enough to be able to implement strategies that truly decrease opportunities for such kind of vicious crimes.

I just wish politicians care enough to hire true experts in the field. All those who spent their entire life studying these exact situation.

The inherently dangerous crimes’ rate is so high and nothing innovative, and based on pragmatic research is being used. All these ignorant folks is thinking to do is increase prison time.

Do you think the shooter here cared anything about how many years he will be in prison when he killed? Nope.

But had strategies in opportunity reduction been used, the opportunity to kill may not have existed. He may have been deterred from killing. He would have been bombarded with obstacles.

This is evidence, clear and convincing evidence, that increase in punishment has practically no effect on crime reduction, especially these kinds of inherently dangerous crimes.

For once, bring in experts to advise. Listen people, listen.

  2. Imagine. Craziness. They need to be locked away and just get food. Now 3 children lose their father. Come on better has to be done. The community needs more patrolling as well. Why can’t we walk away…?

  3. Police cannot help solve crimes alone, but the help that they require has to be from the same people they treat like crap. So how that will happen?

    • You are right, people dont really want to interact with law enforcement, beause most of them dont respect the regular guy on the street

  4. The parliament of Antigua need to make a call for a gun amnesty, and after that period is over anyone found with an illegal gun should be jail for life, and am very serious about this.

  5. Bring back hanging it serves as a deterent against evil and wicket people, I pray for his family and community especially his children 🙏 sad 😔

  6. “The police are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward”??? Have they detained the person the victim had an altercation with hours before he was fatally shot??? If not, how about starting there???

    • It is not the mounties they need but any folks who knows what they are doing. Folks with the training, education and understanding.

The ministers of government in all aspects of life have refused to use experts.

You can verify with various police officials, the PM, AG and other ministers of my crime research and prediction that clearly predicted this kind of crime will substantially increase.

I literally provided the best solution but as @Ras Smood have notice, Antigua has no respect for you unless you are white. Even at the hotels. Even in the villages.

  8. Gaston Browne now needs to make contact with his Swedish 🇸🇪 counterpart Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson immediately on how to stem the rising tidal wave of crime in Antigua.

Kristersson recognised that gun crime (and other serious criminal activities) was on the rise.

    HE TOOK ACTION!

He addressed his electorate, and police presence was increased in the areas that was causing the most mayhem, and then put the Swedish army on standby – just in case.

    PRIME MINISTER KRISTERSSON DOESN’T PLAY!

why is our own Prime Minister not addressing the nation and taking likewise action?

Many Antiguans like me are baffled to say the least!
