Cleofoster Waldron jailed for 3.5 years for unlawfully confining his girlfriend at his home

Cleofoster Waldron will spend 3 years and 6 months at Her Majesty’s Prison after a jury found him guilty of unlawfully confining his girlfriend to his home in 2017.

The sentence was handed down by Justice Ann Marie Smith in the High Court today.

The offence carries a maximum sentence of seven years’ imprisonment.

Waldron was represented by attorney Warren Cassel.

    • I dont know if a longer jail sentence would help. I think the young man needs counselling on relationship matters. He obviously has an excessive controlling attitude perhaps the result of a past trauma. I think mandatory counselling for a year or 2 with the present jail time would be better.

  1. Half assed report! Has he been in prison since 2017? Then does this sentence include time served? He could do the same thing again when he get out!

    I am just asking. I never heard or knew about this particular situation. Trust all concerned have healed.

  3. That Jail sentence na mek sense cause he done spend dat pan remand. I just hope the women out there take heed cause he’s still obsessive and controlling.
