The Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards (ABGMA) is thrilled to announce its prestigious 2024 Honours Class as part of the 10th Annual Awards Festival. Leading the honours are Claudette “CP” Peters and Khan Cordice, two of Antigua and Barbuda’s most celebrated talents, who have made remarkable contributions both nationally and internationally.

• Claudette “CP” Peters (Antigua): Internationally renowned Soca/Soul singer, songwriter, and cultural ambassador, known for her powerful voice and immense contributions to Caribbean music.
• Khan Cordice (Antigua): Accomplished Steelpan musician, composer, arranger, and educator, recognized for his significant impact on the steelpan art form and his work in music education.

The awards ceremony will be held from November 28th to December 1st, 2024, with the honorees being celebrated during the Legacy Ball & Media Awards on Saturday, November 30th. These individuals represent the pinnacle of excellence in media, music, and humanitarian work, with Claudette Peters and Khan Cordice standing out for their groundbreaking achievements.

Other honorees include:

• Daniel “Goldmann” Agyin (Ghana): Multi-award-winning Gospel recording artist, humanitarian, and songwriter, celebrated for his musical influence and charitable efforts across Africa.
• Alyssa Joseph (Trinidad): Award-winning Gospel recording artist, dancer, choreographer, and radio host, recognized for her dynamic performances and positive impact on the gospel music scene.
• Dr. Douglas R. Bramwell (USA/Jamaica): Prominent media personality and media network owner, lauded for his leadership and contributions to Caribbean media.
• Kevin Heath (Jamaica): Gospel recording artist, motivational speaker, counselor, comedian, and minister, known for his inspirational performances and influence.

Now in its 10th year, the Antigua Barbuda Global Music & Media Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the global music and media industries. The event recognizes excellence in radio, television, journalism, and music, while also highlighting the vital role of humanitarian efforts in uplifting communities.

This year’s festival will feature four major events:

• Embark Gospel Voice-Caribbean Edition Artist Showcase – Thursday, November 28th (Top 3 winners will receive music distribution and more).
• Island Groove Awards – Friday, November 29th (Honoring local artists in Antigua & Barbuda).
• Legacy Ball & Media Awards – Saturday, November 30th.
• Gospel Music Awards – Sunday, December 1st.
