Clare Hall Resident, 21, Faces $36,000 Fine After Pleading Guilty to Gun, Ammunition, and Drug Charges”
A resident of Clare Hall, Otineo Thomas, has been fined a total of $36,000 following his guilty plea to charges involving possession of cannabis, possession with intent to transfer, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition.
Appearing before the St John’s Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, Thomas received fines of $19,000 or a 6-month prison term for the possession with intent to transfer charge, $12,000 or 10 months for the possession of a firearm charge, and $5,000 or 4 months for possession of ammunition.
The charges stemmed from a police search at his residence on Tuesday, revealing his possession of 2 pounds of cannabis, a 40-calibre pistol, and 8 rounds of ammunition.

I think the court is going to soft on these punks , when they come out of jail they should be old people , getting a few months in prison is nothing, they going to come out of jail and go right back to the habits .
