The City & Guilds of London Institute offers a full range of further education qualifications, including some qualifications at higher levels on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) from Levels 4 to

  • The City & Guilds 9200 Professional Recognitions Award (PRA) qualifications are one of these and are a higher- level qualification regulated by Ofqual in England at RQF Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7.
  • To achieve a Level 6 PRA qualification for example, candidates must demonstrate attainment, through career progress over time. This is equivalent to that of someone who has achieved a bachelor’s degree with subsequent years of experience.

We do hope that this clarifies our Professional Recognition Awards, which have been successfully supporting career pathways for learners globally for many years. If anything remains unclear, please do not hesitate to contact City & Guilds and we will be happy to assist.

Yours sincerely

Alan Howard

Head of Commercial & International Sales

  6. The Professional Recognition Awards have been developed for those at the highest professional levels within their chosen careers. The awards enable candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and skills within any sector or role. They can also help candidates working towards higher level qualifications.

Those achieving these awards will be granted an appropriate, internationally recognised post-nominal: LCGI, AfCGI, GCGI and MCGI.
These qualifications are ideal for those working at the highest professional levels in any role or sector and looking for an accredited qualification to provide recognition of their knowledge and skills. A wide range of occupational routes are available, allowing acknowledgement of the skills and experience gained in specific sectors.

    What a damage!

Shame on you MOE and Accreditation Board.

  8. Seriously, a total disgrace and mess for MOE in Antigua and their affiliates. They do need to apologize. Out of Order.

  9. If you have to hurt other people in order to feel powerful , you are extremely weak individual .
Shame on the MOE and Accreditation Board

  10. I will just leave this here!!!!

It’s a shame that the Ministry of Education and National Accreditation Board would have caused defamation to the prestigious institution of City and Guilds. No doubt, I think they need to apologize and do so promptly.

I am also of the view that media houses have a role and responsibility in researching, investigating and presenting FACTS to the general public. That was evidently not done. So they too need to do the honorable thing and apologize using the same medium that was used to slander City and Guilds.

To all the parties involved, let decency prevail Apologize!!
