Church members appeal for return of stolen water tank

2

Members of the Saint Luke Anglican Church in Bendals have made a plea for the return of their water tank.

A member of the church told ZDK this morning that the water was drained from the tank and it was stolen sometime last night.

“We are asking the person please return our tank,” the woman cried.

She said the church worked very hard to raise the funds to purchase the tank.

“We did not mark the tank because we did not expect anybody to take it up. But somebody went and took up the tank from the church so we asking them to please bring it back,” She said.

One gentleman known as Sexy Eddie said if the tank is not returned this week he will donate one to the church.

  1. Absolute rubbish which goes on in Antigua! When people are stealing from Churches you know society has a great problem among them. This should be an un fathomable thought as far as I am concerned, totally uncalled for, but that individual is got such a heavy price to pay to the master that I do not envy him or her at all. People also are sending other people to commit this types of larceny I have evidence of this first hand and then share the loot with the hidden other party. May the lord have mercy on their soul.

    • When people are stealing from churches??? Give me a break! How about the MILLIONS the churches steal from people. The MILLIONS they collect yearly via collection every service, and it’s all tax free! Check the vehicle the pastor is driving and what kind of house he lives in.
