Chinese premier congratulates Antigua and Barbuda PM on re-election

Chinese Premier Li Qiang has congratulated Gaston Browne on his re-election as the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda.

In a congratulatory message sent on Thursday, Li said that over the 43 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, China and Antigua and Barbuda have maintained sound and steady growth in bilateral relations, with fruitful outcomes achieved in practical cooperation across various fields.

Li said he stands ready to work with Browne to continuously strengthen mutually beneficial and friendly cooperation between the two countries, advance bilateral relations to higher levels, and deliver greater benefits to the two peoples.
