China donates nCoV PCR Test Kits and swabs to Antigua and Barbuda

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is thanking the People’s Republic of China for a donation of nCoV PCR Test Kits and swabs.

 

The items were presented to Health Minister, Molwyn Joseph earlier today (December 17th, 2021) by the Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, H.E Zhang Yanling.

 

These items will be used in the fight against COVID-19.

 

The handing-over ceremony took place at the Ministry of Health Headquarters on Lower High Street.

 

Permanent Secretary of Health (Acting), Janice Michael and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rhonda Sealey-Thomas were also in attendance.

 

In addition, the Ambassador also gifted the Ministry with financial assistance which will aid Antigua and Barbuda in being able to place more focus on mental health.

  3. Handing over ceremony? Chups all you ministers do is pose for the camera. Nothing ever gets done .. lots of complaints from people about the terrible trenches in the roads. Stop pipe for picture and do some real work now.
