Police have confirmed a stabbing in Barbuda tonight.
Details of what led to the incident are still being investigated.
Initial reports indicate that one boy of school age stabbed another also of school age in the village.
The child is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Members of the Coast Guard are transporting the injured to the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre for treatment.
The police are investigating the matter and could not provide additional details at this time.
