Chief Magistrate Sentences Man to Prison for Cheese Theft Despite Plea for Mercy

4

Natakie Shevington has been handed a four-month prison sentence for stealing a tin of cheese worth approximately $60.

His history as a habitual thief played a role in the judge’s decision. Shevington was caught taking the item from Christos Supermarket on High Street, prompting the owner to notify the police.

Despite pleading for leniency, the Chief Magistrate cited his prior offenses and expressed concern about releasing him during the carnival season.

Shevington claimed he stole the cheese to assist a sick woman caring for two children, but his explanation did not prevent the prison sentence.

  1. There are other options available to us humans besides stealing other people things. So he is in a whole world of legal trouble and will spend Carnival inside looking out.

  2. I pray for his deliverance from such a habit. He need to recognize his weakness and surrender to God. Some habits can be self delivered
