Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason sentenced the 38-year-old Potters man to a year in jail for breaking into a woman’s home in Clare Hall on December 30.

Livingstone stole items worth $1,545, including a 32-inch television, a flow box, a transformer, and more.

The rapid response unit apprehended him on the day of the break-in, discovering the stolen items in his possession.

Further investigation revealed a broken lock on a metal gate and a damaged glass window.

Given Livingstone’s extensive criminal history and recent nine-month sentence for damaging his mother’s home, the Magistrate imposed a 12-month prison term.
