Chaneil Imhoff recently confirmed her application for Antigua Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) membership, following her departure from the Democratic National Alliance (DNA).
Despite submitting her application last week, she is still awaiting a response.
Imhoff, who recently resigned from the DNA, clarified that attending a recent ABLP event and wearing their shirt doesn’t automatically define her political stance.
While emphasizing her ongoing interest in politics, she expressed that loyalty to the country is more crucial than allegiance to a specific political color.
Imhoff, who initially joined the DNA after an unsuccessful bid for the UPP’s St. Peters ticket in 2020, indicated that elective politics remains on her radar, citing the ABLP’s vision for advancing Antigua and Barbuda as a motivating factor.
