One of the country’s centenarians turned 101 today (Wed.). He is Raymond Hughes of Sea View Farm.
Hughes is one of 16 centenarians now living in Antigua. He fathered eight children – two of whom have passed away.
One of his daughters Yvonne says her father still has quite a good memory and can still read. He loves eating pork and has a great liking for tea.
Centenarian Raymond Hughes is a former worker at the Antigua Sugar Factory and has also been involved in farming.
