Celebration Weekend in St. Mary’s South Following Simon’s Historic Re-election

Following his historic re-election as Member of Parliament for St. Mary’s South, Kelvin “Shugy” Simon looks forward to celebrating his victory this weekend with constituents, well wishers, members of his campaign team and volunteers.

On Saturday 4th November there will be a Whistle Stop through the constituency, beginning at Jennings Primary School at 4PM.

A Victory Rally will follow at the Bolans Sports Complex at 7 PM.

It will feature some of the dynamic speakers and live performances that were popular on the campaign trail.

On Sunday 5th November there will be a Community Thanksgiving Service at the Bolans Wesleyan Holiness Church.

Simon hopes that this inter-congregational worship service will facilitate a greater sense of togetherness and fellowship throughout the community.

“We are anxious to get to work in St. Mary’s South but first, I want to celebrate all the hard work that went into my campaign victory on October 24th.

I am grateful to my constituents and campaign team for their incredible service and generosity.

We have so much to be thankful for and I am humbled by the outpouring of love and support that went into this well fought campaign,” Simon said.

Original plans for Simon’s victory celebration had to be postponed last weekend due to inclement weather.

Again, hearty congratulations to the Honourable Kelvin Shugy Simon for his SECOND win in St Mary’s South, Shugy you have shown this wotless, wayward and wasteful government the door, just like the Barbudan’s; All Saints; St Peters and all the other areas where the ABLP were soundly defeated at the polls last January. Beautiful!

    BTW, I bet your bottom dollar that the Goverment’s mouthpiece ABS News, will NOT do any coverage on Shugy’s historic re-election celebrations 🎉

    A one-sided media outlet ISN’T the answer for a fulsome or better tomorrow for Antigua & Barbuda – no way no how.

      • He and Pringle put together can’t compare to Gaston!! Gaston has far more intellect and class than these clowns. You think we can send them on an international stage to represent Antigua and Barbuda? People would laugh at us. What does baby mothers have to do with it? They like to point fingers at Gaston, but ask Shuggy and Pringle how how many young girls that haven’t past 18 years of age they’ve been in bed with since being in politics. 😕

          Poor you guys. You still cannot catch yourself over the rassing you got in St Marys South. The PM cried all immediately after the polls were closed until next day. He literally disappeared from the counting centre.
          Having spent in excess of $5,000,000 to gain an extra 29 votes was that worth it, =$5,000,000/29 = $172,000.00 per vote when poor people balling for water, for the duttiness of the country, the poor roads, poor hospital services with no supplies, government offices without toilet paper, sky high cost of living with no relief as during COVID when every nation on earth offered a stimulus to their people WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANTIGUA.
          Lets talk about young girls: the PM married one- he is the biggest example of screwing them, a pattern he developed from VC, do not mention Cutie the sheet, Chet and others you hypocrites, the SAD things about you minions/ labourites is that the things your representatives and ‘gods’ are guilty of you try and turn it on the opposition.
          You know whats hurting Gaston, because they tried to buy out Shuggy with money and senatorship like they did Dwayne George but he turn them down flat. That eat out the PM, because Shuggy is a man of principle just like Pringle, Anthony et al- they are not sell outs like Lamin, Colin, Dwayne, Chet, Namba, Driftwood, Winston- no they are principled. They DO NOT SELL THEIR SOULS FOR A FEW PIECES OF SILVER. They would rather stand with the people and suffer with them than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.

          He’s condescending to his Caribbean colleagues and kowtows to Caucasians, and also bends the knee to monarch’s when visiting.

    Whatever dirt the Labourites choose to throw at Shugy he maintains the position of being a man with principles and is a credible man.
