The Center for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States has placed Antigua and Barbuda on the “Low, Level 1” Travel Advisory.
This means that it is now safe to travel to Antigua.
Previously Antigua and Barbuda was on level 3, reconsider travel.
The latest report by the ministry of health shows only four active cases of COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda.
There is no one in the hospital with the disease and over 34 thousand people have been vaccinated on the twin-island state.

- Level 3: High level of COVID-19

CDC uses COVID-19 data reported by the World Health Organization and other official sources to make determinations about THN levels. If a destination does not provide data, their THN level is designated as “unknown” and travelers are advised to follow THN Level 4 recommendations.

1) Spend their entire vacation time and money in a location like FLORIDA that respects their freedoms.

People…let’s take advantage as to whatever opportunities this will bring as it relates to tourism. Tourism is Antigua and Barbuda’s business. All the talk about diversifying with some advocating agriculture ain’t gonna fly….atleast not in the short term.

There are leaders of countries who are locking down their citizens who are pitiful psychopaths and who feel no remorse for the people whom they are hurting because they have no conscience to nag them like normal people do. They probably even have convinced themselves they are actually doing the right thing!
Psychopaths have zero empathy for other people and oftentimes have a grandiose self image that doesn’t allow them to admit they could possibly be doing anything wrong. Even though these psychopaths do things that are completely wrong, they don’t qualify as EVIL because they do not KNOWINGLY hurt people.
On the other hand, there is a group of people involved in this catastrophe that are EVIL. These are the leader’s ministers and enablers that DO have a conscience. They do the bidding of the psychopaths for various reasons like money, power, prestige, political position, lack of courage and other reasons. The enablers do bad things to other people KNOWING that they are wrong… By definition such actions are EVIL.

Tourists do NOT quarantine in Antigua/Barbuda IF they are staying in certified accommodation.
Read the notices since last year carefully. At the very bottom on the tourist site is the TOURISM FLEXIBILITY WAIVER.
This point has been made repeatedly and it is very confusing for people, particularly anyone who is fully vaccinated and arrives with a neg pcr test – I include Nationals & residents in this statement, because they are supposed to quarantine at home for 7-days or pay to take a pcr swab on arriving at airport, stay home 48-hrs, receive neg result and free to enjoy their own country.
Realism & Clarity are desperately required from Sir Health…
What can he & medical teams physically deliver on?
What is necessary to mitigate risk at an acceptable level that the economy can start moving again?
What can we do to prepare the infectious disease center to, going forwards, handle anything covid 19 related & give the hospital back to handle it’s usual work?
Masks, sanitizing & distancing will be with us a good while yet as this pandemic is not over.
