The Center for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States has placed Antigua and Barbuda on the “Low, Level 1” Travel Advisory.

This means that it is now safe to travel to Antigua.

Previously Antigua and Barbuda was on level 3, reconsider travel.

The latest report by the ministry of health shows only four active cases of COVID-19 in Antigua and Barbuda.

There is no one in the hospital with the disease and over 34 thousand people have been vaccinated on the twin-island state.

  • Level 4: Very high level of COVID-19
    • Avoid travel to this destination.
  • Level 3: High level of COVID-19
    • Make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel.
    • Unvaccinated travelers should avoid nonessential travel to this destination.
  • Level 2: Moderate level of COVID-19
    • Make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel.
    • Unvaccinated travelers who are at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19 should avoid nonessential travel to this destination. If you must travel and have concerns, talk to your doctor.
  • Level 1: Low level of COVID-19
    • Make sure you are fully vaccinated before traveling to this destination.

CDC uses COVID-19 data reported by the World Health Organization and other official sources to make determinations about THN levels. If a destination does not provide data, their THN level is designated as “unknown” and travelers are advised to follow THN Level 4 recommendations.

  1. Im fully vaccinate ….went thru the entire plandemic / condemic working in a high volume job unscathe by SARS 19…I have no intentions of quarantinning in ANTIGUA or ANYWHERE ELSE…..not for a day …a hr…a week. ……TBH…..

Im more worried about the ANTIGUANS WHO BLATANLY REFUSE TO BE VACCINATED bcos of useless conspiracy theorists in ANTIGUA & who spew their ignorance daily …… whose ONLY agenda is to intimidate ….. causing fear.

    • If unvaccinated people pose a threat to vaccinated people, does that mean the vaccine doesn’t work?

  2. Even if Americans can go to Antigua, they won’t! Not with all the restrictions. Not when they can peacefully enjoy themselves in Dominican Rebuplic, Puerto Rico, tulum, Cancun and jamaica …..not when Antigua has all these curfew and restrictions.. PEOPLE PAY MONEY TO GO TO THE BEACH DRINK AND ENJOY LIFE … WHO TEH HELL IS GOING TO SOEND THOUSANDS TO COME TO ANTIGUA TO QUARANTINE FOE 2 or 3 days or a 5 day stay …
Y’all might as well go back on the no travel
    List

    • You nailed it Mr. Mention!
      The American people have choices.

      1) Spend their entire vacation time and money in a location like FLORIDA that respects their freedoms.

      2) Travel to ANTIGUA and be quarantined upon arrival and be forced to pay a hundred dollars a day for that insult. Add to that the CURFEWS, MASKS and other nonsense rules.

What do you think they are going to choose?

    • Tell them ANTIGUAN AUTHORITIES AGAIN….

ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED PLACES ONLY REQUIRE A NEGATIVE PCR TEST….

ANTIGUAN SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS are the ones SUFFERING ….VENDORS IN ST JOHNS …btw ..why does the capital LOOKS and smells so STINK …A CAPITAL?…

UNNU BETTA GET UNNA ACTS TOGETHER

  3. They are coming Antigua, get vaccination, no way to know if American coming is vaccinated, against the law to ask. So they could be or not. This is the dilemma we in Antigua face

  4. People…let’s take advantage as to whatever opportunities this will bring as it relates to tourism. Tourism is Antigua and Barbuda’s business. All the talk about diversifying with some advocating agriculture ain’t gonna fly….atleast not in the short term.

Let’s do what is necessary to help in the recovery of the economy.

  5. ANATOMY OF EVIL

There are leaders of countries who are locking down their citizens who are pitiful psychopaths and who feel no remorse for the people whom they are hurting because they have no conscience to nag them like normal people do. They probably even have convinced themselves they are actually doing the right thing!

Psychopaths have zero empathy for other people and oftentimes have a grandiose self image that doesn’t allow them to admit they could possibly be doing anything wrong. Even though these psychopaths do things that are completely wrong, they don’t qualify as EVIL because they do not KNOWINGLY hurt people.

On the other hand, there is a group of people involved in this catastrophe that are EVIL. These are the leader’s ministers and enablers that DO have a conscience. They do the bidding of the psychopaths for various reasons like money, power, prestige, political position, lack of courage and other reasons. The enablers do bad things to other people KNOWING that they are wrong… By definition such actions are EVIL.

  6. YOU’VE BEEN CONNED

They didn’t make the vaccines because there is a virus.
They made up the virus so they can get you to take the vaccines.

      • Yes, the virus exist. it was created in Wuhan, China as a bio weapon (gain of function research) funded by Antony Fauci (revealed in latest email drops)

The TRUE dis-respecter of people resides within the current political administration. People need to rise up and speak with ONE LOUD VOICE… time to go boys and get a real job! Ya’ll are terrible at the one you’re doing now.

  7. @ Mr mention
Tourists do NOT quarantine in Antigua/Barbuda IF they are staying in certified accommodation.
Read the notices since last year carefully. At the very bottom on the tourist site is the TOURISM FLEXIBILITY WAIVER.
This point has been made repeatedly and it is very confusing for people, particularly anyone who is fully vaccinated and arrives with a neg pcr test – I include Nationals & residents in this statement, because they are supposed to quarantine at home for 7-days or pay to take a pcr swab on arriving at airport, stay home 48-hrs, receive neg result and free to enjoy their own country.

Realism & Clarity are desperately required from Sir Health…
What can he & medical teams physically deliver on?
What is necessary to mitigate risk at an acceptable level that the economy can start moving again?
What can we do to prepare the infectious disease center to, going forwards, handle anything covid 19 related & give the hospital back to handle it’s usual work?

Masks, sanitizing & distancing will be with us a good while yet as this pandemic is not over.
