CCTV footage of Gas Station Robbery in Golden Grove yesterday

Video shows yesterday’s attempt to rob the Golden Grove gas station.

Investigations are ongoing into an alleged attempted robbery and shooting at the Golden Grove Service Station.

Two armed assailants reportedly entered the business place around 4:50 pm and attempted to rob a female pump attendant.

The police shortly arrived on the scene and were fired upon by the said assailants.

The police returned fire and one suspected female assailant, 23-year-old Shadesha Phillip of Christian Street, Grays Farm was shot in the process.

She is now under police guard at the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Center receiving medical treatment and is also assisting the police with their investigations.

Residents are further encouraged to heighten their security awareness and pay special attention to their personal safety.

A reward of 25K is being offered for information in connection to this and other recent gun crimes.
