A wounding is being investigated in which a victim was beaten by a group of unknown men.
Reports say that a doctor at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre telephoned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and reported that a Lower Gambles man had arrived at the Emergency Room with a bleeding wound on the left side of his head and face.
According to reports, the young man had been in the vicinity of Nunes Hardware when a fight between him and five unknown persons broke out, during which he sustained stab wounds to his head and face.
The incident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. on January 27, on Church Street, and was captured on nearby CCTV cameras.

These vicious unprovoked attacks, robberies, and killings seem more like gang initiations either to get into the gang or to rank up/ get promoted.
